What we use
ShapeMax does not run advertising or analytics trackers. We only use strictly necessary cookies and similar storage (localStorage) so the product can work.
Strictly necessary
ps_device_id: random device id (up to 13 months) to enforce one free scan per device. ps_device_scanned: remembers that this browser already used the free scan. ps_cookie_ack: records that you saw this information. Session token, language (ps_lang), capture timer and onboarding profile are stored in localStorage on your device — not sent as cookies, but they play a similar role.
Consent
Under CNIL guidance, strictly necessary cookies do not require opt-in. Optional cookies (ads, social, non-essential analytics) would. We currently set none of those. You can delete cookies and site data in your browser settings; that may allow another free scan only if the server no longer recognises the device.
